About The Blue Star Foundation

The Blue Star Foundation is an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Native communities and creating lasting change across Eastern Oklahoma through grassroots advocacy, civic enagement, public education, and community partnerships.

Founded by Drake Littledeer, the Foundation was established on the belief that every community deserves transparent leadership, equal access to resources, and a voice in the decisions that affect their future. Our work focuses on bridging the gap between Tribal, state, and local resources while empowering citizens with the knowledge and tools to engage in their communities.

We advocate for transparency and accountability among the institutions that serve Native communities, promote civic participation, and support collaborative solutions that improve the quality of life for Indigenous peoples and their neighbors alike. Whether through research, education, community outreach, or partnerships, we are committed to building stronger relationships between governments, organizations, and the communities they serve.
