About Blue Star Coalition

Blue Star Coalition is an Indigenous-led grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to creating meaningful change across Eastern Oklahoma. We believe strong communities are built through transparency, accountability, and ensuring every voice has the opportunity to be heard.

Founded by Drake Littledeer, Blue Star Coalition was created to empower citizens, educate communities, and advocate for responsible leadership that respects the people it serves. Our work focuses on researching public issues, promoting civic engagement, and helping communities better understand the decisions that affect their daily lives.

As an Indigenous-led organization, we recognize the unique history, cultures, and sovereignty of Tribal Nations while working alongside all members of our communities to pursue solutions that benefit everyone. Whether reviewing public records, encouraging community involvement, supporting local initiatives, or advocating for greater transparency, our goal is to inspire positive, lasting change throughout Eastern Oklahoma.

We work to empower citizens with reliable information, encourage informed participation in local government, and advocate for policies that protect communities, preserve Native values, and build a stronger future for generations to come.
